Registration Terms

Last Updated: September 7, 2026

These Registration Terms (“Terms”) govern the creation and use of user accounts on Cry-Fi (“Cry-Fi”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms should be read together with Cry-Fi’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Age Restriction (18+) Policy, and other applicable policies.

1. Eligibility

Registration on Cry-Fi is permitted only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older and who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law.

By registering an account, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete;

  • You have the legal capacity and authority to create and use a Cry-Fi account; and

  • You will comply with applicable laws and Cry-Fi policies.

Cry-Fi may request reasonable information or verification where necessary to confirm age, identity, account authenticity, safety, or compliance.

2. Account Registration

To access certain Cry-Fi features, users must create an account through the registration process provided by the Platform.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update your account information when reasonably necessary.

Providing false, misleading, fraudulent, or materially incomplete information may result in account restriction, suspension, or termination.

Cry-Fi may limit registration or access to particular features where additional eligibility or verification requirements apply.

3. Account Types

Cry-Fi may support different account roles, including:

  • Support Seekers, who use Cry-Fi to discover and book emotional-support services.

  • Listeners, who provide emotional-support services as independent service providers.

Listeners are not employees, agents, or healthcare providers of Cry-Fi merely because they register or provide services through the Platform.

Listeners may be required to complete additional verification, onboarding, interviews, profile review, vetting, and acceptance of the Listener Agreement and other applicable policies before offering services.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to maintain the confidentiality and security of your login credentials.

You agree to:

  • Keep your login information secure;

  • Not intentionally share your account with another person;

  • Use reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access;

  • Notify Cry-Fi if you reasonably suspect unauthorized access to your account; and

  • Cooperate with reasonable security or verification measures where necessary.

You may be responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law and depending on the circumstances.

Cry-Fi may take reasonable measures to protect an account where unauthorized access or suspicious activity is suspected.

5. Identity & Authenticity

Users must register using their own identity and must not:

  • Create fraudulent or deceptive accounts;

  • Impersonate another person or organization;

  • Use materially misleading identity information;

  • Use stolen photographs or documents;

  • Misrepresent experience, qualifications, or professional credentials; or

  • Create accounts for the purpose of evading previous enforcement action.

Cry-Fi may request identity or other verification where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, account integrity, Listener vetting, or legal compliance.

6. Acceptable Use

By registering, you agree to use Cry-Fi responsibly and only for permitted purposes.

You must not:

  • Engage in fraud or deceptive conduct;

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate others;

  • Use Cry-Fi for illegal activities;

  • Request or provide prohibited sexual interactions or services;

  • Attempt to bypass Cry-Fi’s payment or booking systems;

  • Circumvent applicable Platform fees;

  • Interfere with Platform security or functionality;

  • Attempt to obtain unauthorized access to another account;

  • Misrepresent professional qualifications or services;

  • Circumvent verification, suspension, or other Platform restrictions; or

  • Violate any Cry-Fi policy or applicable law.

Violations may result in warnings, session termination, account restrictions, suspension, permanent removal, payment restrictions, or other appropriate action, including legal action where applicable.

7. Listener Registration

Registration does not automatically authorize an individual to provide services as a Listener.

Listeners may be required to complete:

  • An interview or assessment;

  • Identity verification;

  • Profile review;

  • Vetting;

  • Document verification;

  • Policy acknowledgment; and

  • Other reasonable onboarding requirements.

Cry-Fi may approve, restrict, or reject Listener applications based on applicable eligibility, safety, verification, platform, and operational requirements.

Approval as a Listener does not constitute employment, professional licensing, clinical certification, or a guarantee of future conduct or service quality.

8. Verification

Depending on the account type, feature, circumstances, and applicable requirements, Cry-Fi may use reasonable verification methods including:

  • Email verification;

  • Phone verification;

  • Identity verification;

  • Age verification;

  • Listener vetting;

  • Document review; and

  • Other appropriate verification procedures.

Not every user or account will necessarily be subject to every verification method.

Failure to complete required verification may restrict access to certain features or prevent an individual from providing services.

Additional requirements may apply where safety, fraud, legal, regulatory, or Platform concerns arise.

9. Booking & Online Session Access

Where a booking includes an online Video or Audio Session, applicable session access may be provided through the Booking Details page or relevant session interface.

Depending on the session configuration:

  • Meeting access may become available through the booking;

  • Participants may be permitted to join only during the designated access period;

  • The session operates according to the booked start and end time;

  • A session timer may display the remaining session duration;

  • The session may automatically expire at the scheduled end time; and

  • Participants may be removed when the scheduled session expires.

Participants are responsible for joining on time and maintaining a compatible device, browser, internet connection, and required permissions.

Late arrival does not automatically extend the booked session.

Participants must not attempt to bypass session access controls, participant restrictions, or automatic expiry mechanisms.

10. Contact Information & Online Sessions

For supported Cry-Fi online sessions, participants generally do not need to exchange personal phone numbers, email addresses, or other personal contact information solely to access the session.

Cry-Fi may provide necessary meeting access through the Platform.

Users and Listeners must not use Cry-Fi to improperly obtain, collect, disclose, or misuse another participant’s personal contact information.

Any exchange of personal information remains subject to the Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct, Community Guidelines, and other applicable Cry-Fi policies.

11. Suspension & Termination

Cry-Fi may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where it reasonably believes that:

  • False, misleading, or fraudulent information has been provided;

  • Platform policies have been violated;

  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity has occurred;

  • Serious safety concerns exist;

  • Unauthorized Platform access has occurred;

  • Required verification has not been completed;

  • Legal or regulatory requirements require action; or

  • Continued use may create significant risk to Cry-Fi, users, Listeners, or the integrity of the Platform.

Cry-Fi may also restrict or remove inactive accounts in accordance with its Data Retention & Deletion Policy and applicable operational practices.

Where appropriate and permitted, Cry-Fi may provide an opportunity for clarification or review. This is not guaranteed in circumstances involving urgent safety, fraud, security, or legal concerns.

12. Communications

By creating an account, you may receive necessary service-related communications concerning:

  • Account activity;

  • Bookings;

  • Session access;

  • Security;

  • Verification;

  • Technical notices;

  • Customer support;

  • Important policy or service changes; and

  • Other essential Platform matters.

Where permitted by applicable law, Cry-Fi may also send optional promotional or marketing communications.

Users may unsubscribe from applicable promotional communications or manage available communication preferences.

Unsubscribing from promotional communications does not necessarily stop essential service, security, transactional, or legally required communications.

13. Personal Responsibility

You are responsible for using your account and Cry-Fi services responsibly, including responsibility for:

  • Information submitted through your account;

  • Bookings made through your account;

  • Communications sent through your account;

  • Your participation in sessions;

  • Your interactions with other users and Listeners; and

  • Compliance with applicable Cry-Fi policies and law.

You should review booking and service information before making a booking and should use Cry-Fi honestly, responsibly, and respectfully.

14. Personal Information & Privacy

Information collected through registration and Platform use may be processed in accordance with Cry-Fi’s Privacy Policy and Data Retention & Deletion Policy.

Cry-Fi may process account, booking, technical, payment, verification, safety, and other information as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, provide services, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law.

Users should not provide unnecessary sensitive personal information through profiles, messages, reports, or other Platform features.

15. Policy Integration

These Registration Terms operate together with Cry-Fi’s other applicable policies, including:

  • Terms & Conditions;

  • Privacy Policy;

  • Cookie Policy;

  • Booking Terms;

  • Refund & Cancellation Policy;

  • Code of Conduct;

16. Changes to Registration Terms
