Cry-Fi (“Cry-Fi”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Cry-Fi may collect, use, process, store, disclose, and protect information when you access or use our Platform, services, bookings, Video Sessions, Audio Sessions, marketplace features, and related services.


1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Support Seekers

  • Listeners

  • Visitors

  • Users purchasing products or services through Cry-Fi

  • Individuals interacting with Cry-Fi’s support, safety, moderation, or reporting systems

It applies to Cry-Fi services provided online or through other Platform-supported methods, including applicable Video and Audio Session functionality.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with Cry-Fi’s other applicable policies, including its Data Retention & Deletion Policy, Cookie Policy, Security & Breach Response Policy, and Terms & Conditions.


2. Information We Collect

Cry-Fi may collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Platform, or from third-party service providers where reasonably necessary for Platform operations.

The information collected may vary depending on how you use Cry-Fi and which features you access.

2.1 Account Information

When you register or use Cry-Fi, we may collect:

  • Full name or display name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Date of birth

  • Profile information

  • Login credentials

  • Account preferences

  • Account activity

  • Information necessary to maintain account security

Listeners may additionally provide:

  • Identification information

  • Identity-verification information or documents

  • Vetting and onboarding information

  • Relevant experience or qualification information

  • Payout information

  • Service or listing information

Cry-Fi may process such information as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, verify Listeners, provide services, prevent fraud, and maintain safety.


2.2 Booking & Service Information

When a booking is created or a service is used, Cry-Fi may process:

  • Booking ID

  • Selected Listener

  • Selected service or listing

  • Service description and applicable service attributes

  • Gender Preference specified for the service, where applicable

  • Date and time

  • Session duration

  • Session type

  • Booking status

  • Cancellation information

  • Payment status

  • Refund information

  • Applicable timezone information

This information may be necessary to provide and administer the requested service, process payments, manage bookings, enforce applicable service conditions, and resolve disputes.

Gender Preference is a service-level compatibility preference selected by a Listener and displayed as part of the applicable service information. Processing this information is intended to facilitate service selection and booking compatibility and does not by itself constitute an assessment of a user’s personal characteristics beyond the information necessary for that purpose.


2.3 Video & Audio Session Information

Where Cry-Fi provides integrated Video or Audio Session functionality, Cry-Fi may process information necessary to facilitate the session, including:

  • Session identifier

  • Booking association

  • Participant authorization

  • Session start and end time

  • Session duration

  • Meeting or access information

  • Session status

  • Technical connection information

  • Access and authentication information

  • Session expiry information

Meeting or access information may be made available to authorized participants through applicable booking or session details.

Cry-Fi may use technical controls to permit authorized participants to access a session during the applicable booking period and to restrict access after the scheduled session period.


2.4 Session Timing & Automatic Expiry

For timed Video or Audio Sessions, the Platform may process the scheduled:

  • Start time

  • End time

  • Duration

  • Applicable timezone

  • Session status

Cry-Fi or its relevant communication provider may automatically restrict access or end a session when the scheduled session period expires.

Where supported by the Platform or third-party communication provider, participants may be automatically removed from an expired Video Session.

These controls are used to administer the booked session duration, protect Platform integrity, and prevent unauthorized continued access.


2.5 Live Session Content

Cry-Fi does not represent that ordinary Video or Audio Sessions are automatically recorded or stored by Cry-Fi.

Unless separately disclosed and appropriately authorized, Cry-Fi does not intend to treat an ordinary live Video or Audio Session itself as a stored recording.

However, information surrounding a session may still be processed, including:

  • Booking records

  • Session metadata

  • Technical logs

  • Access information

  • Reports

  • Complaints

  • Evidence voluntarily submitted by users

  • Security information

  • Information necessary to investigate disputes or policy violations

Participants remain responsible for any recording, screenshot, or other capture they independently create, subject to applicable law and Cry-Fi policies.

Third-party communication providers may have separate data-processing and retention practices.


2.6 Communications, Reports & Submitted Information

Cry-Fi may collect information provided through:

  • Support requests

  • Safety reports

  • Complaints

  • Disputes

  • Moderation reports

  • Account inquiries

  • Feedback

  • Evidence submissions

  • Communications with Cry-Fi

This may include:

  • Messages

  • Screenshots

  • Documents

  • Uploaded files

  • Relevant communications

  • Investigation information

  • Information voluntarily provided in connection with a complaint or report

Such information may be processed for safety, moderation, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, support, security, and legal compliance.

Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information when making a report or support request.


2.7 Payment Information

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

Cry-Fi generally does not directly store complete payment-card credentials such as:

  • Full card numbers

  • CVV or security codes

Payment providers may independently collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and applicable legal requirements.

Cry-Fi may retain payment-related information such as:

  • Transaction references

  • Payment status

  • Booking amount

  • Refund status

  • Payout information

  • Payment-provider identifiers

  • Relevant accounting or reconciliation information

Such information may be processed where reasonably necessary for Platform operations, accounting, payment administration, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.


2.8 Technical & Usage Information

Cry-Fi may automatically collect technical and usage information such as:

  • IP address

  • Device type

  • Browser type

  • Operating system

  • Approximate location derived from technical information where applicable

  • Login information

  • Access timestamps

  • Error logs

  • Usage activity

  • Security logs

  • Cookie information

  • Referral information

  • Performance and diagnostic information

This information may be used to operate, secure, analyze, troubleshoot, and improve the Platform.


3. How We Use Information

Cry-Fi may process information to:

  • Create and manage accounts

  • Facilitate bookings

  • Connect Support Seekers with Listeners

  • Display relevant service information

  • Facilitate Video and Audio Sessions

  • Generate and manage meeting access

  • Authenticate authorized participants

  • Enforce session timing and expiry

  • Process payments and payouts

  • Process refunds and disputes

  • Verify and vet Listeners

  • Prevent fraud and abuse

  • Investigate safety incidents

  • Moderate content

  • Respond to support requests

  • Maintain Platform security

  • Detect suspicious activity

  • Investigate policy violations

  • Resolve complaints and disputes

  • Improve Platform functionality

  • Analyze Platform usage

  • Measure marketing performance

  • Provide advertising where applicable

  • Manage affiliate attribution where applicable

Cry-Fi may rely on third-party infrastructure or service providers to provide Video or Audio Session functionality.

  • Authenticate participants

  • Establish communication connections

  • Operate meetings

  • Maintain security

  • Enforce participant limits

  • Enforce session duration

  • Manage access permissions

  • Detect technical problems

  • Maintain service reliability

The applicable third-party provider may process technical or session-related information according to its own privacy policy, terms, and contractual relationship with Cry-Fi.

Cry-Fi does not control all data-processing practices of third-party infrastructure providers.


7. Shop & Third-Party Product Interactions

Cry-Fi may provide shop, affiliate, or third-party product features.

Where a transaction or interaction involves a third party, relevant information may be processed by that third party as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service or complete the requested transaction.

Third-party providers may have their own:

  • Privacy policies

  • Terms of service

  • Data retention practices

  • Security practices

Users should review applicable third-party policies before engaging with external services.


8. Safety Reports & Misconduct Evidence

Cry-Fi may collect and retain information relating to:

  • Harassment

  • Abuse

  • Sexual misconduct

  • Fraud

  • Threats

  • Safety incidents

  • Policy violations

  • Unsafe offline conduct

  • Serious complaints

  • Other conduct that may require Platform review

Evidence may include:

  • Screenshots

  • Uploaded documents

  • User-submitted evidence

  • Investigation records

  • Relevant technical or account information

Such information may be processed to protect users, investigate reported conduct, enforce policies, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

A report or complaint does not by itself establish that the reported conduct occurred. Cry-Fi may review available information and take appropriate action based on the circumstances.


9. Information Sharing & Disclosure

Cry-Fi may disclose information where reasonably necessary for Platform operations or where permitted or required by applicable law, including to:

  • Payment processors

  • Hosting providers

  • Video and communication infrastructure providers

  • Analytics providers

  • Security providers

  • Email and communication providers

  • Service providers supporting Platform operations

  • Professional advisers where appropriate

  • Government authorities

  • Law-enforcement agencies

  • Courts

  • Regulators or other competent authorities where legally required

Cry-Fi may also share information where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect users or others, investigate serious misconduct, enforce Platform policies, or protect Cry-Fi’s legal rights, subject to applicable law.

Cry-Fi does not disclose personal information for purposes unrelated to Platform operations except where permitted by applicable law or otherwise authorized.

Cry-Fi does not knowingly sell personal information as a standalone commercial data product.


10. Legal, Safety & Fraud Disclosures

Cry-Fi may preserve, use, or disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Prevent fraud

  • Investigate serious misconduct

  • Protect users or others

  • Enforce Platform policies

  • Respond to lawful requests

  • Comply with court orders

  • Comply with regulatory requirements

  • Protect Cry-Fi’s legal rights

  • Investigate or respond to security incidents

  • Fulfil other legal obligations

Where legally permitted, Cry-Fi may cooperate with relevant authorities.

Cry-Fi may limit or decline disclosure where disclosure is not legally required or reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.


11. Data Retention

Cry-Fi retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for purposes including:

  • Providing Platform services

  • Maintaining accounts

  • Facilitating bookings and sessions

  • Processing payments and payouts

  • Resolving disputes

  • Preventing fraud

  • Protecting Platform safety

  • Enforcing policies

  • Maintaining security

  • Complying with legal obligations

Certain information may be retained for longer periods where required or reasonably necessary for legal, financial, safety, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or policy-enforcement purposes.

Cry-Fi may delete, anonymize, aggregate, de-identify, or restrict ordinary use of information where appropriate and reasonably feasible.

12. Data Security

Cry-Fi uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However:

  • No online system is completely secure

  • No method of transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure

  • Third-party services may have their own security risks

  • Cry-Fi cannot guarantee absolute security

Users should also take reasonable steps to protect their account credentials, devices, and account access.


13. Security Incidents & Breach Response

If Cry-Fi becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, Cry-Fi may:

  • Investigate the incident

  • Contain and remediate affected systems

  • Assess potential impact

  • Implement additional security measures

  • Preserve relevant information

  • Notify affected individuals where legally required

  • Notify relevant authorities where legally required

  • Cooperate with appropriate third parties

Subject to applicable law, users may have rights relating to their personal information, including the ability to request:

  • Deletion of eligible information

  • Information regarding applicable processing

  • Withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent

Certain requests may be restricted where Cry-Fi is legally required or permitted to retain or process information.

Where permitted by law, Cry-Fi may request reasonable information necessary to verify the identity or authority of the person making a privacy request.

Withdrawal of consent does not necessarily affect processing that occurred lawfully before consent was withdrawn or processing that Cry-Fi is otherwise legally permitted or required to perform.


15. Children’s Privacy

Cry-Fi is strictly intended for individuals 18 years of age and older.

Cry-Fi does not knowingly provide its services to individuals under 18.

If Cry-Fi becomes aware that an account belongs to a minor, Cry-Fi may restrict or terminate the account and handle associated information in accordance with applicable law and its Age Restriction (18+) Policy.


16. International Data Processing

Cry-Fi may operate internationally.

Accordingly, personal information may be processed, stored, or accessed in countries other than the country in which you reside.

Different jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws.

Where applicable law requires additional safeguards for international data transfers, Cry-Fi may implement appropriate measures.

Third-party service providers may independently process information in other jurisdictions according to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Cry-Fi may contain links to:

  • External websites

  • Payment providers

  • Affiliate partners

  • Advertisers

  • Social platforms

  • Other third-party services

Cry-Fi is not responsible for the privacy practices or security of external websites or services that it does not control.

Users should review the applicable third-party privacy policies before providing personal information to those services.


18. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their:

  • Passwords

  • Login credentials

  • Account access

  • Devices used to access Cry-Fi

Users should take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access and should notify Cry-Fi promptly if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.

Cry-Fi may take reasonable security measures, including account restrictions or additional verification, where unauthorized access or suspicious activity is suspected.

This Privacy Policy operates together with Cry-Fi’s other applicable policies, including:

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Cry-Fi may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Where required by applicable law, Cry-Fi may provide additional notice regarding material changes.
