This Listener Vetting & Verification Policy (“Policy”) explains how Cry-Fi (“Cry-Fi”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) reviews, vets, verifies, and approves individuals applying to become listeners on the platform.

By applying as a listener, you agree to this Policy.

Approval is not guaranteed.


1. Purpose

Cry-Fi uses a vetting and verification process to promote trust, reduce fraud, and improve platform safety.

This process helps Cry-Fi assess whether an applicant is suitable to provide emotional support services.

Vetting does not guarantee future behavior.


2. Eligibility Requirements

To apply as a listener, applicants must:

  • Be at least eighteen (18) years old

  • Provide accurate information

  • Submit required verification documents

  • Complete Cry-Fi’s onboarding process

  • Meet platform suitability standards

Cry-Fi may reject applications at its sole discretion.


3. Identity Verification

Cry-Fi may request identity verification, including:

  • Government-issued ID

  • Name verification

  • Date of birth verification

  • Contact verification

  • Profile authenticity checks

Failure to complete verification may result in rejection or removal.


4. Interview & Assessment

Cry-Fi may conduct interviews or assessments to evaluate:

  • Communication ability

  • Emotional maturity

  • Professional boundaries

  • Platform suitability

  • Behavioral risk indicators

  • Understanding of Cry-Fi policies

Passing an interview does not create employment.


5. Optional Experience Review

Cry-Fi may review:

  • Relevant support experience

  • Communication background

  • Community moderation experience

  • Coaching or listening experience

Professional qualifications are not required unless explicitly stated.


6. Misrepresentation Prohibited

Applicants must not:

  • Submit fake identification

  • Use false names

  • Misrepresent qualifications

  • Falsely claim therapy credentials

  • Hide material misconduct history where required by Cry-Fi

Fraudulent applications may result in permanent platform restriction.


7. Ongoing Verification

Cry-Fi may request updated verification at any time, including:

  • Identity reconfirmation

  • Contact updates

  • Profile revalidation

  • Additional review following complaints

Failure to cooperate may affect account status.


8. Complaints & Safety Review

Listener accounts may be reviewed if Cry-Fi receives reports involving:

  • Harassment

  • Sexual misconduct

  • Fraud

  • Abuse

  • Threats

  • Manipulation

  • Unsafe offline conduct

Cry-Fi may investigate and take action at its discretion.


9. Suspension Pending Review

Cry-Fi may temporarily suspend listener accounts during:

  • Serious safety investigations

  • Identity disputes

  • Fraud investigations

  • Sexual misconduct reviews

Suspension does not imply guilt.


10. Approval Limitations

Approval as a listener does not mean:

  • Cry-Fi guarantees the listener’s behavior

  • Cry-Fi certifies professional qualifications

  • Cry-Fi guarantees emotional outcomes

  • Cry-Fi accepts liability for listener conduct

Listeners remain independently responsible for their actions.


11. Data Handling

Verification documents may be stored, reviewed, and processed according to Cry-Fi’s Privacy Policy and Data Retention Policy.

Cry-Fi uses reasonable safeguards but cannot guarantee absolute security.


12. Right to Reject or Remove

Cry-Fi reserves the right to:

  • Reject applications

  • Request additional verification

  • Suspend listener accounts

  • Permanently remove listeners

for any safety, fraud, or policy concern.


13. Acknowledgment

By applying as a listener, you acknowledge:

  • Vetting is required

  • Approval is discretionary

  • Verification may be ongoing

  • Cry-Fi retains final authority over acceptance and removal
